Huawei adds 20 more devices to the EMUI 10 update roadmap

At its IFA event in Berlin early last month, Huawei teased the EMUI 10 update roadmap for a few of its devices. At the time, the company just listed down tentative dates for 13 devices, while promising updates for over 30 models eventually. In a recent post from the official Huawei EMUI Weibo account, the company has now detailed the EMUI update timeline for a total of 33 devices.

Here’s a list of all the devices scheduled to receive the open/closed beta updates for EMUI 10:

Since the company has already started beta sign-ups for EMUI 10 on the P30 and P30 Pro in a number of regions, it’s safe to say that the aforementioned timeline is for Chinese variants only. This falls in line with the update roadmap highlighted at the IFA event, which suggested that the global releases would push well into the second quarter of 2020.
The post also mentions that Huawei will be adding more devices to the list. However, looking at the pace at which the company is rolling out the updates for these devices, I wouldn’t expect the stable version of EMUI 10 to hit older devices anytime in the next couple of months.
